Matthews Opera House

The railings for the Opera House were patterned from one-half of a newell post
and pieces of ballister.The components were milled from paint grade poplar.

Another Upstairs View of Railings

The flower medallion was produced on a lathe. Concentric rings were formed on flat stock and then the petals were hand-cut with a coping saw.

Cove Molding

The large cove molding was made by running stock diagonally across a table saw blade.
